Josh Mew
A 15 to 18 second reaction ad cut from a creator's real session. The first brief in a series (see the case study).
Who's watchingPokémon collectors, 18+, who think nobody really pulls the big cards
AwarenessKnow the app, don't trust it
AngleWatch it happen: a real creator, a real pack, a real grail
OfferFree pack worth up to $1,000 with code CROWN
FormatCreator reaction, face cam over the app screen, one fixed caption bar, 1080 x 1920
Why this brief. The doubt is "the big pulls are fake." A creator screaming as a slab lands, with the value on screen, answers it. The job was to find those 15 seconds and cut the rest.
01The idea
Josh opens two packs. The first gives him a Pikachu slab. The second gives him a $99,999.98 Mew and he jumps out of his chair.
02Script
Caption bar the whole time: "Pulling a $99,999.98 Mew on CrownCards"
| Beat | His words (captioned) | On screen |
|---|---|---|
| Hook | "No way, we got a gold on our first Diamond!" | A gold card on screen. Start here, no build-up |
| 1 | "No! No! Let's go!" | The Pikachu slab lands, he stands up |
| 2 | "Oh!" | Hard cut to the next pack turning gold |
| 3 | "No! Let's go! No, no, let's go!" | The Mew lands, he jumps out of his chair. Hold one second on $99,999.98 |
| End card | Logo, "FREE PACK WORTH UP TO $1,000", "USE CODE CROWN", store badges |
The smaller pull goes first so the Mew feels bigger.
03Must-haves
- Only his real footage. No made-up cards or numbers.
- Mute every swear (silence, no bleep).
- Only caption dollar amounts the app shows, never what he says.
- Cover his code, his balance and any "Buy for" button.
- Cut his car talk.
